Timeless Elegance: Historic Estates and Planter's Houses in Nairobi

Nairobi is more than a bustling metropolis; it is the custodian of the romantic 'Out of Africa' era. To truly experience the city's heritage, one must venture into the leafy suburb of Karen, named after the famous author Karen Blixen. Here, amidst coffee plantations and indigenous forests, historic planter's houses have been transformed into boutique sanctuaries. Closer to the city center, the Central Business District (CBD) houses legendary landmarks like The Norfolk, where the safari story began. Whether you are staying in the tranquil Langata area or exploring the colonial architecture near the Ngong Hills, these properties offer a nostalgic journey back to the golden age of travel.
