Beyond the Crowds: Serene Retreats in Shuhe and Baisha

While Lijiang's Dayan Old Town pulses with energy, the discerning traveler knows that true luxury lies further north, in the shadow of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Our curated collection focuses on the ancient settlements of Shuhe and Baisha, where the cobblestones are quieter and the Naxi heritage is more palpable. Here, properties like the Hylla Vintage Hotel and Tsingpu Baisha Retreat offer more than just accommodation; they provide a sanctuary. Whether you are seeking the tea-culture immersion of LUX* Tea Horse Road or the expansive villas of Banyan Tree Lijiang, these neighborhoods promise an authentic, unhurried connection to the landscape and history of Yunnan, far removed from the tourist throngs.
