The Robertson House by The Crest Collection

The Warehouse Era: Industrial-Chic Transformations in Singapore

Singapore's architectural landscape is a mesmerizing blend of futuristic skyscrapers and carefully preserved heritage. Nowhere is this more evident than in the rise of industrial-chic hotels, where former spice godowns (warehouses) and Straits Chinese shophouses have been reimagined into luxury sanctuaries. This curated collection takes you through the historic corridors of Robertson Quay, where the Singapore River once bustled with coolies and trade, to the vibrant streets of Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown. Properties like The Warehouse Hotel and The Robertson House stand as testaments to adaptive reuse, offering travelers a chance to sleep within walls that hold centuries of stories, all while enjoying contemporary sophistication.
