Time Travel in Wudadao: Heritage Stays of the Former Concessions

Tianjin is often celebrated as the 'Museum of Universal Architecture,' where East meets West in a stunning display of historical grandeur. For the discerning traveler, staying near the **Wudadao (Five Great Avenues)** district or along the **Haihe River** offers more than just accommodation; it offers a portal to the past. The former concessions, once home to British, French, and Italian settlements, now host some of the city's most prestigious properties, such as The Ritz-Carlton and Hotel Indigo. These areas in the **Heping** and **Hexi** districts are characterized by tree-lined boulevards and European-style villas. By choosing these heritage stays, you place yourself in the heart of Tianjin's cultural narrative, steps away from the Italian Style Town and the serene flow of the Haihe.
